The wifi is almost useless. I asked multiple times, There are plenty of hotspots, but no r of them work. The bed is super hard and lumpy. We had to leave the water running for 10 minutes to get hot water. Almost couldn't take a shower. When we got ready in the morning, after walking around the room for a few minutes, my feet were almost black from walking on the floor. When I wiped them off with a wet towel, it turned the towel black. It was very noisy from a loud bar on the roof and another across the street. This was a horrible experience. We were supposed to be there 2 days, we left after just 1 day and found another hotel. Never again!!

Ir is not so bad, but it doesn’t quite match the price. It’s a bit noisy and they didn’t take credit cards, that sort of ruined it. No coffee in the room. Otherwise it’s ok.

Beautiful room with a view of the pyramid in Cholula, easy walking to Cholula zocalo and pyramid, restaurants, etc... The room did get a little warm without air conditioning and strong sun during the day.

The room and bathroom was very old, super noisy and the bathroom didn't have an outlet. The room was super cold that we weren't able to sleep. You have to pay for the breakfast and wasn't good at all. The hotel has a good location and the staff was friendly.

Cannot pay with a credit card
This hotel is in an excellent location. Staff are very friendly and the hotel is very clean. I was just very disappointed that they don’t take credit cards as a form of payment and as a tourist you only carry around a limited amount of cash.

AVOID or you’ll regret it!
The front desk staff was rude and unaccommodating. Though we arrived around 3:30 pm, about 30 minutes after check in began, he claimed there was only one room without a window available by the noisy lobby. He also claimed that they only accepted cash, even though neither Hotels.com nor the hotel indicated this. There was a lot of noise in the lobby restaurant and rooftop restaurant/club until 11 pm at night.

The staff are the nicest people you could meet. We let them know we had a CAR ahead of time, so they held a parking space for us. Parking is INSIDE the bldg and limited so letting them know in advance is a good idea. This was in late January, chilly, a portable heater was in the room, and that was sufficient. The bath is nicely tiled, fairly large. The bed is comfortable and has a small balcony. I highly recommend this place. Out the front door, take a left. First block, take a right. Up by the park area on the left, you will see an X0 mart, which has drinks that you can put in the frig. Dining: Out the front door, turn left, first block, turn left. Go down until you see HSBC bank. Across the street is a park. Walk down the street alongside the park, one block, and you will see on the corner a GREAT restaurant. We had breakfast and dinner here most days. If you have a car be CAREFUL in town about parking. Most places have parking in lots.

The location is awesome in case you like to walk across downtown. Attractions and restaurants are near by. Would help to have air conditioning or a fan inside rooms during warm weather. There's no restaurant and parking is not easy to access. However the personnel is kind and makes the effort to help.

Location could not be better. It is right across the street from the Cholula Teocali. It is also within walking distance from the tourist shopping area. The reception people are excellent.

Hotel “Xelhua” it’s in a good tourist area location, in front Zona Arqueológica de Cholula, also the hotel have a bar in the rooftop call ““Malik Mixology Rooftop. “ I had an amazing, safe and a good time. Totally recommended.

The staff was very courteous and helpful with all aspects of my stay. They even upgraded my room from what my reservation originally called for. They directed me to where I should and should not go. The manager spoke fairly good English. The hotel was very clean and safe. I would recommend this hotel.

This is an older hotel in the historic part of town, overall the hotel looks nice and clean and the staff is very helpful and courteous, it's within walking distance of some great landmarks and plenty of great places to shop and eat, including the restaurant in the hotel. perhaps some of the negatives would be that the rooms are pretty small, the water heater is painfully slow, but they do have a small attended parking garage which is good because parking is not very good and all parking nearby is metered.

The employees like the people of the village were the kindest people we ever encountered. They were very helpful and always readily available for anything we needed. Enough cannot be said. We absolutely look forward to spending another vacation at this hotel.
