"The setting of this hotel is beautiful. The room we had was recently renovated and was extremely comfortable. The staff were great, very friendly and attentive. We will be back to Harrogate and will definitely look to stay here again. The on-site Amber's restaurant is divine, and the food was amazing."

"There are two things I did not like. 1. The mattress was very uncomfortable. I woke every morning, in pain all over; feeling like I’d been mugged and beaten up. 2.Getting in and out of the bathtub/shower was hazardous. I have arthritis in my hips and knees; I had problems raising my leg(s) high enough clear the side of the tub. The bath mat in the tub did little to prevent slipping. "

"The hotel room space is big and very clean, breakfast was delicious and I must say the staff in the restaurant are very efficient."

"Parking expensive and can be difficult. Room we were in did not have blinds or net curtains and was overlooked by other windows in the hotel."

"Breakfast room quite small for size of hotel. Queues at key times. Cooked breakfast buffet in another room and separated by stairs, not so good when carrying a hot plate. Having said that, the offering was very good and piping hot."
