"Arrived to check in and was listed the items we could have extra if we paid aircon for x amount of euros wifi x amount of euros the best bit was being told it would be €30 for bed sheets. This is a really lovely hotel. Full of character and history, but well refurbished. Extremely friendly and helpful staff, all of them. Our room, which was clean and comfortable, overlooked the inner courtyard and when we requested one with better light they saw to it quickly and efficiently. The first room had a walk-in shower, the second a bath (with jacuzzi) and hand-held shower, but the pay-off was two French windows and balcony. It was great. Elisabeth was very helpful and let us check in early as we arrived early in the day. The location was great - it was just off from the Piazza and was close to lots of restaurants, bars and a taxi rank. I would stay again - the aircon was also a blessing!

We had a good stay here. Very helpful reception staff. Room was nice and comfortable and in a quiet top floor corner setting, only slightly marred for tranquillity by a loud minibar that we had difficulty turning off (eventually found the right switch in the middle of the night). Breakfast excellent. Very well located for Trieste transport, restaurants and sights.

Excellent location as very central but very quiet. Room was comfortable and cool despite the extreme heat outside, good breakfast and very helpful staff on Reception. Housekeeping seem to do an amazing job as everywhere looked very well cared for. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Good sized, clean apartment in a really central location near great bars and restaurants.
I found check in online a complicated system but once we were there easy to gain access.
The washing machines are communal and you need to download an app to use them.
