The electric plugs were not well situated or were loose in the wall. The hairdryer was unusable due to curly cable which had to be plugged in low down and then did not reach to be able to see a mirror or even sit comfortably to use it. It’s a cute quaint hotel that is nicely kept and staff is super nice. Checkin/checkout was easy and they even called a taxi for us. The hotel is right by the water and the Castello del Miramare is with in an 15 min walk. Hotel is immaculate all rooms have seaviews over Adriactic sea, 10 min bus ride from town centre bus tickets available from hotel and a mere 200mtr walk to bus stop. Restaurant food was superb and reasonably priced. But if you are just in Trieste overnight to catch a cruise you would be better staying in Trieste as this place is 20-30 minutes away from cruise port. Also the train drop off is a 20 minute walk down steep hill and stairs to get to hotel. There were no cabs in sight. The bus stop is a 10 minute walk away. A cab to terminal costs about 30 euros. We were there on the off season in October and all local restaurants in area were closed for the season and there was nowhere to eat but the restaurant at hotel. Also, no vending machines or market nearby to grab water/snacks. The only option for water was the minibar in our room.
