"Property was very clean and had everything that we needed. It did have two bedrooms which would be OK if you had two adults and two small kids. Not enough room for 4 adults, but it was perfect for my husband and myself. "While born and bred in Pompey for 19 years, I returned to my hometown as a tourist to show a friend around. Therefore, I knew of the Lady Hamilton's excellent location and I was pleasantly surprised that the "partial sea view" from the window was an excellent full view of HMS Warrior-stunning at sunrise. No noise disturbance from the pub or street and stairway means not having to go through pub; didn't drink in pub, as they had run out of London Pride real ale, but a proper local pub if you want the authentic Portsea. The Lady Hamilton is a stones throw from the dockyard (maritime museum) and the range of restuarants at Gunwharf; recommend Giggly Squid and Tap and Tandoori - has lovely vegan options .Also, a delighful 15 minute walk to Old Portsmouth-Spinaker cafe good place for breakfast and opens early. I would definitely stay here again and recommend; very comfortable bed, clean, great shower, location and view! Only thing that would have been a good thing to have in the room is a peg in bathroom for towels, though did have radiator to hang on. Although HMS Victory covered over for renovation, still a fascinating visit and The Mary Rose musuem is out of this world and a must see."

"The location is perfect with 2 beautiful pebble beaches close by, conveniently situated with a choice of big supermarkets . Booking and communication faultless. The pictures and the house didnt seem exact as the decor appeared dated. House was clean but some carpets were stained, recycling bins were full , pickup date was 4 days away, and the tv remote was not working properly. Also, the house is in a residential area therefore there were several notices to keep the noise down by 9pm and not to use hotub after said time. It kind of gave the holiday a curfew. So if you are a loud crowd be careful because you might be liable to 150 each visit someone complains. All in all we had a nice time, good weather but would reconsider carefully when booking apartments again."
