"The main part of the hotel is loaded in the 16th century Palace. There were no heirs when the last owner died. He left it to the city and they’ve added two extensions to the palace, which are wonderful views all with balconies… there were only 88 rooms in this hotel. It looks like there could be 300 but they did it so everyone has a balcony and could look out.!!! the staff were great!! Jessica and Caterina especially. The check-in was quick. I asked for an upgrade it happened the next day…. Wonderful location much better than staying in historic center of Lisbon, which I’ve done before I’m in Paco fu Arco area of Lisbon.. Great location!!"

The location was perfect right across from the beach, and right behind the hotel an entire area of little restaurants in that indoor mall… The staff was very friendly the breakfast had a great selection and was very well Ord. "Beautiful property with amazing view and across the street from the beautiful water. Was lovely sitting on the rooftop lounge with the picturesque view. Great breakfast buffet each morning. The only negative was we found the beds very hard and not comfortable for our liking. They did try to accommodate us with an extra layer on our beds. Would definitely recommend."

"Rooms are a bit dated but the fridge stove and microwave are great to have. Bathroom also dated and really small. The bathtub shower combo leaks, Balcony doors and balcony are lovely. Beds are extremely firm and two single beds pushed together isn’t a proper queen or king bed. Breakfast was a nice feature of the stay, but it was the same every morning. The fresh fruit was great, but there could have been more variety with the hot options of eggs and shredded ham/sausage combo that was the same everyday. Pastries were store bought and also the exact same every day. Variety would have been nice. No pastel de Natas served in Portugal for breakfast, very odd. Sushi restaurant in the hotel only open once a week. Front desk staff were very pleasant and accommodating. Really liked having the hotel arranging a driver for airport pickup and drop off. Hotel pool area was nice with the fountain and variety of loungers and umbrellas. The pool water was a bit chilly."
