From Pragelato, it's roughly 35 miles (56 kilometers) to the east to Turin and 110 miles (177 kilometers) to the east to Genoa.
While it can be tempting to simply sit back and relax when visiting Pragelato, remember, the surrounding region's many scenic wonders await. Make tracks to Sestriere, and discover the Via Lattea Ski Area and Sestriere Ski Area. Sestriere is approximately 5 miles (8 kilometers) away from Pragelato and is worth the trip. If you are up for even more, make your way over to Susa for the Piazza San Giusto and Arco di Augusto. Susa is roughly 10 miles (16 kilometers) from Pragelato.
Approximately 35 miles (56 kilometers) to the east of Pragelato is Turin, an important regional city and the home of Mole Antonelliana, Palazzo dal Pozzo della Cisterna and Gran Madre Church. If you have enough time, it's worth investigating Turin Royal Palace (Palazzo Reale), Oval Lingotto and Polytechnic University of Turin before heading back to Pragelato.
