Amazing host. They were really helpful and provided a detailed document with recommendations of attractions and dine out options. They do have 2 lovely dogs on site Pluto and Laika. Very friendly. Breakfast in morning was the higlight of the stay. All marmalade/jams were made using home grown fruits and special bread from a local bakery (from Furnas). Even made scrambled eggs for me upon request from farm eggs. Our room was spacious and had attached washroom. Overall the place was very neat and well kept I totally recommend them to anyone going to Azores.

Best place I ever stayed at. Amazingly beautiful environment with water, mountain and field views. Amazing owners and staff with a breakfast feast that caters to each guests preference with lots of fresh fruit from their organic garden. Adelia and Guy were readily available to make excellent recommendations on activities, help book rental car/taxi or whatever came up. Farm animals on property . Would definitely love to go back to this property and the island. Ideal location to recharge and be nurtured.

Three-star price with six-star service and quality, another extra star is for the family-oriented hospitality which doesn't exist on five-star hotels.

Very comfortable, felt like I was at home! Everyone was very kind and accommodating. They even made something to go for me to eat on the way to the airport, since I was leaving very early and would be missing breakfast! Breakfast was wonderful each morning and was a little different each day. They also provided tea/coffee and a few snacks such as biscuits and nuts available for the afternoon, which was so wonderful! Very thoughtful! The directions to the guesthouse were perfect and very helpful! I had an amazing time and would love to go back! Thank you again for everything!!

Quinta Atlantis is a beautiful space that makes you feel right at home. The craftsmanship of the wood is amazing and the fireplace is awesome. A great place for solo or couple travelers in the hills of Povoacao. You’ll spend time with the dog Laika and the cat Pluto who are very friendly, but will give you space as well. Breakfast is the best you’ll get on the island. Fruit, eggs, fresh Jam, yogurt, vegetables and hummus. I will surely stay there next time I’m on Sao Miguel.
Breakfast one morning. They also make eggs if you want.

We’ve spent 3 days at Quinta Atlantis and had a very delightful stay. The house is very spacious and the property has some amazing views onto the ocean and countryside. Our room on the second floor (sea theme) was very airy and nicely decorated. The bed was comfy and bathroom was also spacious and very functional, although it had a slight sewage smell to it so we kept the door closed and window open. Maria was an amazing hostess and the breakfasts she made for us were some of the best we’ve had on our trip! We are just sad we didn’t have more time to enjoy the accommodation itself as it is very charming inside and out. The only potential issue is the very steep and narrow road leading up to the place, so make sure you’re comfortable with your driving.
