"5 stars! The Elea Mare is a fabulous value in an authentic Greek coastal village, run by a host (Greg) who personifies customer care. We can’t praise him enough for the warmth of his interactions with us! As an example, our young-adult daughter became mildly sick during our stay, and Greg provided tea and offered to check up on her when we left her in the hotel by herself for half a day. The hotel is a short walk from a small beach and town harbor and near several excellent dining options....

" Kinsterna Hotel is an exceptional establishment that I discovered last year, and I was so impressed that I immediately made a reservation for this year. This luxurious hotel offers a remarkable fine dining experience; the breakfast is incredibly abundant, and their restaurants are truly outstanding. They even cultivate all their vegetables on-site, which adds a unique touch to every meal. Each room boasts its own distinctive decor, and the views of the surrounding landscape are simply breathtaking. The staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive, ensuring that you feel welcome throughout your stay. It’s no surprise that the hotel received two Michelin Keys this year. I cannot wait to return! "A special little gem. This family run property sits on a small bay across from Monavasia. You can easily walk over from the hotel. The room has everything you need. This isn’t a luxury spot, but well appointed. The newly renovated bathroom had shower gel, hand soap, and shampoo. There are bath and hand towels available. There is a blowdryer in the room, along with a frig. There’s a wardrobe from hanging items. My partner and I were here for just one night and found it just right for what we needed. There’s a stunning view of Monavasia, even though you can’t see the village, you see the rock. The owner is super sweet and accommodated our late arrival from Athens. There are tavernas just steps from the property all along the water. There’s ample street parking across from the property. Great for a quick overnight! "

Liotrivi Historical Mansion & Boutique Hotel

"This is one of the best hotels I have *ever* stayed at. Beautiful rooms at a historic hotel in the middle of an olive orchard, a 15 minute drive from Monemvasia. The manager came out to meet us when we parked, knew who we were and brought us to the room prior to my coming to check in. The included breakfast the next morning was fantastic, huge variety of freshly prepared foods. Incredible experience, thank you!"

"A hotel worth much more than two stars I would rate it at least three if not four stars The staff is lovely, Shontei, Hargiro, Nina, (I hope I wrote the names correctly) take care of you as a guest so that you will simply have a good time. The rooms are very clean and spacious, the hotel staff is quick to fix any problem. The view from the quiet private balcony is stunning in its beauty, the proximity to the most beautiful beach in the area, a 2-minute walk away, is worth it all. Coffee is free throughout the day and night, and even a basket of fresh fruit is available for her, if you are craving sweet fruit. The breakfast buffet is rich and luxurious. It's worth it to celebrate my birthday at Iris beach hotel. All was good."

Spectacular location

"The location, views, proximity to the beach were fantastic!Communication was hard and we arrived to a locked house, eventually found the keys.We stayed in April so it was a chilly and rainy, the only heat is the fireplace. We were comfortable making fires but not everyone might. It is a solar powered house with solar hot water so when the sun isn’t out the hot water was tepid.The location and views are worth the quirks!"
