The Elea Mare is a fabulous value in an authentic Greek coastal village, run by a host (Greg) who personifies customer care. We can’t praise him enough for the warmth of his interactions with us! As an example, our young-adult daughter became mildly sick during our stay, and Greg provided tea and offered to check up on her when we left her in the hotel by herself for half a day. The hotel is a short walk from a small beach and town harbor and near several excellent dining options. Breakfast is served on an open terrace overlooking the sea and features many hand-prepared local items. Même si l'endroit est un peu vieillot, le charme opère et on s'y sent bien. Il faut soutenir les gens qui tentent de faire leur boulot avec attention et amour et cet endroit remplit toutes les conditions. Les environs sont magnifiques et cette partie des Péloponnèse offre tant de choses à découvrir. However if you want to stay in a quiet, relaxing place exactly at front of the sea with super nice people where you can settle down and drive around and discover Laconia, then you found what you are looking for! The breakfast is excellent and plenty, big & comfy rooms, great wifi internet, great beach just 2 minutes walk from the hotel. Do yourself a favor and spend a few nights at Elea Mare, you won't regret it!
