Like a lot of places, this home is built on the side of a hill with gorgeous views. It is 60+ steps from the street to the house but so is everything else in the area. Maria was a great host and met us at the property and explained everything. She connected us with a local, Marco, who helped us book a boat for the day which was amazing! I will say that the terrace could have been a bit more kept and the beds leave a bit to be desired and the showers are standard European small. Location is fantastic and it gave good space for out three couples to have some privacy. We have had a most wonderful holiday. The villa was perfect. Maria met us and explained how the appliances, air conditioning and general location of restaurants and market close by. She was very thorough and responded quickly to any questions that arose from our stay there. The villa is spacious, charming and very clean. The 60 steps down to the villa were not difficult and by the end of our stay even the less physically fit were able to climb with comparative ease. Positano is beautiful. Many restaurants and lovely shops. We did reserve ahead of time for a driver from Naples Airport which worked out well.
