They provide a huge breakfast every morning exclusively for the guests. The private spaces were greatly appreciated as Positano can feel a bit overwhelming with the number of tourists. The beauty that this place holds is absolutely unmatched. We were welcomed by family members and made check in so easy. They gave us bottles upon bottles of their incredible wine. Everything was very clean and everything you needed was there. They invited us up every morning for a beautiful breakfast, cooked special for us by the head chef. It is a good ride up from the main beach/part of town, but so worth it! They helped us figure out a scooter to get around town and had food and wine for us at our private room as soon as we got in. The food at the restaurant is incredible and a must! The only regret is that I didn’t do the cooking class! It sounded so fun and smelled amazing! Toni the manager in the restaurant was such a fun highlight and we quickly fell in love with him and his personality! Communication with Antoinette was not good. No one ever checked on us. No housekeeping services. There is literally no service, it's dated, and the people who run it are completely indifferent to you being there. Their primary focus is their restaurant which does a very good business. They literally shuttle people in from Positano to the restaurant because they are located 20 minutes away on top of a very steep hill. They will not offer their shuttle service to you to get down and back to Positano. I was told by Debra to take the bus which stops at the restaurant once an hour. The bus is VERY crowded. Property is close to Nocelle, 5 min bus ride The property has a small farm on the lower levels. We walked down to check it out and saw the gardens and a caged dog, some chickens. We did not look further because I was upset over the caged dog, he looked so sad; and it smelled bad down there. You could smell it from our room. The property only has 2 rooms and ours was the smallest. It was dated, safe didn't work, you had to lift door to open/close it over tile. They have glass separating the small room from bathroom which was really just in the way. The mattress on bed needs replaced, worn out. There was long brown hair all over the bathroom floor which makes me wonder how well it had been cleaned. The view from the patio though was beautiful. Chambre incroyable, grande, salle de bain bien aménagée, jacuzzi devant la fenêtre avec vue , machine à café à dosettes, terrasse extraordinaire avec lit rond et coussin. La vue, la vue la vue .. est INCROYABLE. Luigi avait gardé une place (indispensable) pour notre voiture. Positano est à 30 mn à pieds (escaliers ). The people were so nice, and the view from the room was amazing. We stayed in the Botticelli room and it was even prettier than the pictures on the website. This is not a typical hotel, it is actually so much more than that. It’s a family owned restaurant and farm that has a couple of rooms available on the property. The rooms are Beautiful! You will feel so lucky to stay here. The restaurant is very well known and highly recommended by locals and visitors. Definitely book a dinner there if you can. It was one of our favorite nights of our whole trip. When you wake up in the mornings, you will have breakfast in the outdoor restaurant area. Everyone is so welcoming and you can get an understanding of how the restaurant works, as “Mama” is probably already preparing for the evening guests and meal. They brought so many delicious things out to us for breakfast from the kitchen. Truly, it felt like we were honored guests, and the cappuccino and espresso was so good! The view alone from this property is worth the trip. We did a cooking class on-site with two other couples, and it was a blast! Everyone was surprised that we were actually staying there. If a room is available here…don’t wait, book it now! Tip: you can take the “interno” bus down the mountain to the beach area for 1.60 Euro. There is a stop just outside of the inn, and you can buy the tickets on the bus. It stops here on the hour.
