It is 80 sq m large and belongs to a property which consists of other 2 houses as well. It has got all kind of amenities, such as: air conditioning (or winter heating), living & dining areas, SAT TV, WI-FI Internet access, a well equipped kitchen, a private swimming pool and a terrace that is 150 sq m large, covered by a wooden roof, provided with a table and chairs and from where you can enjoy fantastic views of the sea, of Positano and of the Amalfi coast. \===== ACCOMMODATION DESCRIPTION ===== Casa Gioia is only 600 meters away from the center of Positano, where you will find bars, restaurants and shops. The bus stop both for the Amalfi-Sorrento line and the local city line is at only 200 meters, while the closest beach is 1.5 km far. Actually there is no need of a car if you stay at this place, but anyway if you have one, there is the possibility to park it in a garage (at extra cost) that must be reserved in advance. Please be aware that the access to this property is along a narrow road that is not suitable for large vehicles. Alternatively, you can park larger cars free of charge along the public roads (but the distance from where you succeed in parking your car to the property will depend on the availability of parking spaces). The house consists of a living room, (whose furniture is very cozy), that you can reach from the kitchen (fully equipped) and it has got a sofa and a couch and it is equipped with air-conditioning of course. The kitchen is equipped with a gas cooker, an electric oven, a fridge with ice-maker, a dishwasher and an Italian-style coffee-maker. The dining table can accommodate six guests. From the kitchen you have access to the terrace. From the corridor you can reach the three bedrooms, provided with elegant furniture, double beds (larger than a queen-size bed), air conditioning/heating units and en-suite bathrooms (with shower). In one of the bathrooms there is a washing machine too. To conclude let’s talk about the swimming pool that has a circular shape. The pool area is equipped with a sun umbrella and three lounge chairs. From the swimming pool you will enjoy an awesome view of the sea, of Positano and of the Amalfi Coast. It is certainly one of the most enchanting places in the world with a unique landscape and a wonderful sea. However, it is good to know that among its features, there is inevitably a need to make several steps to move on foot, so people with mobility difficulties may have some problems. The car is advisable to move freely, as an alternative to taxis or public transport. The villa was very clean with good aircon and Wi-Fi access. Ambra was always available to answer queries and gave lots of suggestions for eating out and trips etc. The villa had a large outdoor area and a pool with stunning views over Positano. Yes, there are alot of steps to get into the town and back, but there are plenty of buses and taxis which we used to get back to the villa. The flat was spacious and the large patio with pool was lovely. The kitchen was adequate but lacked some essentials needed for cooking. These items were privided promptly by the owners upon request. The customer service provided by the management company was excellent. Car service and excursion bookings were beyond expectation and made for a wonderful and highly memorable experience. The flat is located at the top of the town which makes for a strenuous walk to and from the beach. There is a public bus service which we didn't use because it was very crowded. We chose to walk which is do-able for those who are a bit more physically fit. The nearest grocery store provides delivery service and there is a restaurant just down the street that offers dine-in and take-away. We have just returned from a brilliant holiday in Positano. Our accommodation was excellent, very clean, tidy, and spacious. Views were amazing. The pool was an added bonus for the kids and was clean. Our hosts were extremely helpful at all times and reverted back to us very quickly with all our queries. The accommodation is a 20 minute walk approx. to the beach/centre of Positano. Steps challenging at times on the way back up! Nearest restaurant is just up the street. Its called Da Constantino's and food is really good. They also have take away service if too tired to go out after a fun filled day!! Nearest supermarket is 5 mins away and they stock all your needs and provide a delivery service which was very welcome. Overall would highly recommend this property. ##### Claire J. The Mastro family are delightful and readily available to help in any way. The villa was immaculate and nicely decorated. It had several lemon trees, which we took advantage of. The bus stop is nearby, go to the Tabacchi (tobacco store) to get the bus tickets since it's cheaper to purchase ahead of time. Guido Terzuoli, our booking agent, was amazing.
