A magical place where our guests can fall asleep with the sound of the waves crashing on the rocks and wake up with the smell of rosemary and salt. Peace and silence surround this villa immersed in the Mediterranean scrub and framed by the pink of oleanders and bounganville. A magical atmosphere, perfect for those who want to escape from the chaos of the city and regenerate body and mind. The 200 square meter terrace will allow you to enjoy dinners and lunches with a breathtaking view of Capraia and will be an unforgettable experience that you will carry in your heart throughout the winter. This is an authentic jewel encrusted in nature: facing the seashore. The villa is furnished with antiques, unique pieces collected in 50 years of travel by the owner family. The floors, both indoors and outdoors, are in fine Tuscan terracotta, characteristic of the earth. The living area consists of a large and bright living room with fireplace, smart TV, a dining room with furniture from the 1700s and a perfectly equipped kitchen. The sleeping area consists of 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms: a master bedroom with private bathroom with tub, a lovely "Sea Breeze" suite with private bathroom with new crystal shower cubicle, the "St. George's room" overlooking the caletta del Porticciolo, the “Room of the boats”, with an outdoor garden surrounded by palm trees, geraniums and maritime pines. These two rooms are served by the "turquoise bathroom". In addition, there is a lovely annex consisting of a double bedroom, bathroom with glass shower, kitchenette and terrace with sea view. The bathroom faucet was replaced this year. To further enhance the beauty and success of this villa, there is certainly comfort. In fact, in two minutes, through a path in the woods, you can reach the rocks, where there is a small beach. To the right is a beautiful natural cave, where a bunker was created during the Second World War. After crossing the cave, in ten minutes you reach the wonderful Biodola beach, famous throughout the island for its fine sand and crystal clear waters. On the left, however, along the "path of health", in 5 minutes you will find the enchanting and wild Baia della Lamaia. Important Notes: \- groups of guys under the age of 25 are not allowed \- for safety reasons it is not possible to use the bbq \- the road to reach the property is unpaved \- check-in from 17.00 to 19.30 and check-out by 11.00 ; for check-in after 20.00 a supplement of € 50.00 must be paid \- Animals are not allowed \- as in all our properties it is forbidden to smoke inside \- deposit (mandatory): 1,000 euros; refunded at the end of the stay after having viewed the state of the property (in case it is paid in cash it will not be returned before 3.00 pm) \- bed linen and towels: 20.00 euros per person (to be requested at the time of booking); not bookable on site Information for key collection: Information regarding check-in is sent to the customer 48 hours before arrival, for any need you can contact our customer service. We called them to ask but there was not a simple way to shut it off so we shoved pillows and blankets around it to quiet it down. Property is very remote and hard to access but nevertheless very beautiful with an awesome deck. ##### Neal T. Stayed 4 nights in Sep 2025 ### 6/10 Okay #### Birgit M. 7 Oct 2020 Liked: Cleanliness Disliked: Listing accuracy #### Traumhafter Blick, schreckliche Anfahrt Die Terrasse und der Wohnraum sind so wunderbar, wie auf den Fotos abgebildet, mit den Zimmern/Bädern waren wir zufrieden, die Küche ist in die Jahre gekommen, die Schränke teils unpraktisch zugänglich. Die Anfahrt zum Anwesen war für uns ein Unding, drum sind wir auch früher abgereist, weil wir diese Tour nicht mehrfach fahren wollten, obwohl als Oberbayern Bergstrecken gewohnt. Nach einer kurvigen Schotterpistenfahrt nach unten gehts um eine extrem enge, schottrige, ausgefahrene Haarnadelkurve mit Gefälle. Die Schnauze zeigt Richtung Meeresabgrund - begrenzt von einer Leitplanke, ein Reifen hing in der Luft - und dann muss man mit Handbremse/rückwärts/hoch zurückstoßen und neu einschlagen. Das war mit unserem Skoda Fabia incl. Angstschweiß gerade eben machbar, für unsere Freunde im BMW ausgeschlossen. Man könnte stattdessen auch rückwärts nach unten rollen, aber der Weg ist sehr schmal und daneben gehts senkrecht runter. Unten angekommen ist es nicht möglich, zu wenden, wenn zwei Autos auf dem Parkplatz stehen. Dh. entweder, man fährt rückwärts bis zur Kurve hoch oder ist schon rückwärts runtergefahren.
