"Wonder step back in time. Quiet , unassuming and comfortable. You relax as soon as you step through the doors. Small dinner menu but freshly cooked, reasonably priced and delicious. "We had a wonderful stay at this charming, family-owned hotel. The location is excellent—just a short walk (about 10 minutes) to the beach, with plenty of shops and restaurants right down the road. The hotel is run by a lovely older couple who made us feel very welcome, they were especially kind to our young daughter. Breakfast each morning was a highlight—hearty, homemade, and served in a traditional dining room that reminded me of grandma’s house. It added a comforting, nostalgic touch to the whole experience. If you’re looking for a place with character, warmth, and a great location, this is a perfect choice."

"Exceptional property, beautifully restored and decorated. Lovely common room for use by guests. Host was very friendly and available. Short walk into town (10 minutes) and only a bit further to a beautiful sandy beach (15 minutes). Delicious breakfast with barrista made coffee and option for home made bread."

"We were touring around and this was a great location, with the beaches of Nairn nearby and good connections to travel wider afield to Inverness and Loch Ness in one direction and Aviemore in the other. The facilities were what you'd expect and we enjoyed the bar and dining in the restaurant on both nights we stayed there - excellent food and service. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout, with our many questions about places to go etc. It was also fascinating to learn about the link with Charlie Chaplin, and I would happily stay there again.
