The 104-year-old house has two queen bedrooms on the main floor, and a larger "lounge" upstairs. The living room couch pulls out into a comfy bed, and upstairs lounge area has a double futon and double bed. Mattresses are new, towels and sheets are high quality. The furnishings are fun, funky, and vintage-y unfancy \~ while never compromising comfort. You'll enjoy a large kitchen with lots of countertops and work space, a big fridge, and a 6-burner Viking cooktop. Within a 10-minute walk you'll find some great restaurants, but you might just want to stay in! To note: \~Touchpad entry - no key necessary. \~The house is a nice size, actually a 3-bedroom, because of upstairs “lounge" and sleeping area. \~Street parking is readily available but ask host if you need driveway parking, it's shared with neighbors. \~ There's no enclosed yard - pets must be on leash when outside. Backyard is comfy and available for you to use - just know that it's not private. There's a sweet and separate cottage at the back/side of the property, which is where I usually am. It won't be in your vision and is more like a separate home. The front yard and front porch are all yours to enjoy privately, but don't hesitate to use the open and shared backyard too! \~ There's an additional apartment below the house - sharing no space with the bungalow, and no noise. This is where the laundry room is. It's near Sandy Blvd, but very quiet, and the house had everything we needed. Michelle is delightful and welcoming. I stayed in this house with 4 of my family members that were visiting Portland for the first time. We loved staying here! There are plenty of comfortable sleeping spaces, sitting spaces, and a cute front patio. We loved the comfortability of the house, as well as all of the detail our host put into this house. The location is perfect for airport travel, as well as getting to all corners of the city. We really appreciated her effort at making sure we loved our stay. Michelle is a class act host that includes many thoughtful touches within the home. The house is in a convenient location near amenities and fun things to see and do, though we spent a good deal of time simply relaxing in the beautiful space that Michelle cultivated within the house. The Rosewood bungalow was clean, well stocked and beautifully decorated. Our 7 year old twins loved the upstairs. The candy land game was kept going the whole time. Very quiet neighborhood and great there is a grocery store nearby and easy access to a main road that leads everywhere. Street parking is tight during the day but can easily find a space out front after work hours. Absolutely would stay here again and so much better than a normal hotel! Beautiful front porch and garden, chicken coop in the way back of the backyard. Very welcoming, comfortable beds, gorgeous bathroom, cute well-stocked kitchen. Nearby park by golf course is walkable. Located near Safeway and a great thrift store Rerun2 - there is some noise if you're outside as you're not far from a main street. Michelle was a terrific host and she made check-out so easy! We have 2 kids ages 6 and 9 years old and a dog. The size of the house was perfect for us. The Colorful Roseway Bungalow is even cuter in person than in the online pictures. We enjoyed daily neighborhood walks with our dog. The location is great, close to the airport, but also with easy access by car to anywhere we wanted to go in Portland. The owner was friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this house, especially if you want a local neighborhood feel to your vacation. We would definitely love to stay here again. ##### Kathryn M. So, went outside my comfort zone and found this beautiful gem of a place, and so glad I did. It’s off a busy street, but as soon as you enter the neighborhood, it’s quiet, the homes are cute and funky, and the trees and gardens are gorgeous. The older craftsman home is warm and inviting, with a little bit of eclectic thrown in for good measure. Spotless, extremely clean…The beds were comfy, kitchen well stocked, heater was easy to operate and did I mention the lovely indoor plants? My daughter and I felt right at home and Michelle was a thoughtful and gracious host. ##### Linda H. She went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and pleasant. She had live bouquets of flowers throughout the house, the beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked to meet any need. During our stay, she checked in with us to see if things were Ok. Michelle is very personable and takes a personal interest in providing a pleasant stay. A bonus was the VRBO was very close to the airport which was nice since our flight arrived in the wee hours of the morning.
