"The house is even better than the pictures. There were eight of us and plenty of space. Loved the various outdoor areas and the open plan living space meant we could all spend quality time together playing games and eating. Luxurious bedding and high end bathroom facilities. Laundry room was handy. Kitchen was well equipped. Location was great. Visit Porth beach which is easy accessible for older people. Open air bus to Padstow was fun and popup cocktail bar at top of Lusty Glaze does great...

"Having stayed at Retallack several years ago, we found that things were much the same, but obviously with more development going on. Our lodge looked a little tired, compared to where we stayed before, perhaps because it is up for sale, the owners have lost interest. The upstairs balcony was rather dirty with bird droppings and the wood was rather slimy, which made it more or less unusable as a pleasant place to sit. The children especially were disappointed that there was no wi-fi, but that was...

Cottage was clean, comfortable and well appointed. Well positioned for local coastal adventuring. Would recommend arriving in day light as the car park is not lit and access for unloading everything was not that straightforward! Otherwise a great stay."
