Everything was very clean. The beds were comfortable and the decor very tasteful. The bonus of bikes and beach chairs delivered on day one of our stay was much appreciated. Walking distance to local trading post and 20 min drive to the nearest beach town and restaurants. Even a crowded day is just right. Storms pass over but do leave water in the drive. It was exactly as described. It is 50 (I counted!) steps to the beach, so towards the end of the week we stopped packing coolers because it was just as easy to grab a new drink from the house. Very clean - smelled so good when we arrived! What led us to find this rental is that it has two King bedrooms. The public areas - kitchen, den, table area- were perfect for four adults. The screen porch was in need of major renovation - prehaps a nice open porch facing the gulf! The exterior and grounds are in need of cleanup and renovation. Close to everything - beach, store, ice cream, and doughnut shop. Screened in porch could use a rebuild and a little refresh throughout, but the views from the kitchen, living room, and master bedroom made all of those things minor.
