Salt Cured is the latest rental from Wanna Get Away Vacay Rentals and you won't be disappointed! Freshly painted throughout, this 4-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom townhome is both beautiful and cozy. Located on the North part of Cape San Blas, Salt Cured sits directly between the Gulf of Mexico and the St. Joseph Bay in an exclusive townhome community. Salt Cured can be turned into a 2 bedroom unit for reduced costs (including cleaning fee). Please inquire if interested! There is plenty of room for everyone in this 2,000 sq ft home which feels brand-new with all updated furniture, mattresses, and linens. Three separate patio areas, including an outside dining area for four, make enjoying the outside easy. Check out the pool area from your deck and take in the Gulf of Mexico with peek-a-boo views. Each bedroom has its own full bathroom, a smart TV, and brand-new mattresses and linens to ensure a great night of sleep. There are two master bedrooms, one on the 2nd floor and one on the 3rd floor, which have a King bed and a door to their own patio. On the 2nd floor, in addition to the King master bedroom, there is a Twin over Full bunk bed with a Twin trundle. This room is perfect for kids with ample room and its own bathroom. There are even some children's books to enjoy to make bedtime easy! Similarly, on the 3rd floor, in addition to the King master bedroom, there is a Queen bedroom with its own bathroom area. All the bedrooms boast TVs with streaming capabilities, as well as new mattresses and linens. There is also an alarm clock in each bedroom, and a sound machine in the Bunk and Queen bedrooms. The top floor of Salt Cured is a gorgeous open floor with both a large living room and stellar kitchen area. The living room has a couch and two armchairs with ample seating for everyone as well as a large smart TV with DVD player. There are a handful of DVDs to watch, along with a few board games, and even some novels to take to the pool or beach. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need from a toaster, blender, hand mixer, crockpot, and Keurig Duo along with nearly every type of kitchen gadget you could think of. On the 1st floor and main level, you will find a hall closet stocked with beach chairs, a beach umbrella, as well as a plethora of beach toys. We also keep a high chair, pack-and-play and baby gate in the hall closet for our guests to use. Salt Cured also comes with a beach cart and a gas grill. Be respectful of the house and its belongings- it is our home. ☺️ Notes on the elevator at Salt Cured: You are welcome to use the elevator, but please be VERY patient. It is slow and has specific instructions that must be followed for it to work properly. Couple of tips... make sure the inner and outer doors on all levels are closed or it will not work at all. When opening the outer door from inside the elevator, a little trick is to pull the door towards you and the push it open. Children under the age of 12 MUST NOT be allowed to ride alone or play with the elevator. It is a safety issue. You are responsible for ensuring the elevator is properly operated and not abused. However, there is a severe water/humidity problem and the problem has obviously been ongoing for some time. There is a dehumidifier on the fourth floor that is supposed to auto drain but the drain wasn’t working so we kept having to empty the basin several times a day. The ceiling was dripping water on the fourth floor and the elevator door was swollen from moisture. It was very hard to open and close. Due to that door the elevator became inoperable. The elevator company doesn’t come on the weekend so we had to tread the stairs all weekend. Elevator company came on Monday and fixed it but advised us not to use the 4th floor. So, at check out time we took all of our belongings to the third floor and used the elevator from there to get it all down stairs. The owner was super nice when I contacted her and did all she could to remedy the problem remotely. My major concern is there was no warning. The problem has been a problem for a while and we were unaware. I just think honesty and full disclosure go a long way. I was told that all of the condos in that complex have the same moisture problem and I noticed while we were there that most of the condos were unoccupied. The house has comfortable beds and pillows. The decor was beautiful. The balconies were spacious and had great views. The kitchen was stocked with some things a lot of houses do not offer.
