We really enjoyed our stay. The house is well appointed with all the necessities and in a very quiet and peaceful location. There is a very nice pool right at the end of the street. It’s also a short walk to a beach access on the bay or you can take the golf cart out to other beach accesses along old 98 and the rest of the Windmark development. We had a great time! Though this house isn't right on the beach, it still has that beachy vibe and just a golf cart ride away on Ruby. Also enjoyed the restaurants close by. Very nice home with all the necessities and nice out-door area. I was surprised by all the construction going on behind the house but was also relieved at how quiet it was. We had been to the Port St. Joe area about 12 years ago and stayed on Cape San Blas. But no more. This house and location was so perfect. The water at the beach was clear and emerald green. The beach was quiet and absolutely beautiful. The pool is a must and and was just perfect. We were close to so many amazing restaurants who were so very accommodating for our little dog. Our host, Stephanie, could not have set this house up any better. Ruby was so needed and appreciated. All the beach chairs, tents, towels and bikes were so appreciated. Not having to lug all that down there was so stress free. The house is well appointed, quiet and has a great open concept for hanging with family. We were notified of battery issues with the Golf Cart just prior to our arrival. We were provided with a rental golf cart, but it was only a 4-seater (There were 5 of us) and the rental cart was really slow... The provided 6-seat cart was fixed the day before our departure. We had to deal with rental cart drop off, phone calls, paper work, etc. There is a narrow threshold the entire length of the garage entrance, maybe a 1/2 to an inch tall. It is pretty much invisible. Everyone in our group tripped over this numerous times walking into the garage. The lady that delivered the rental cart also tripped over it walking into the garage. It is dangerous and should be eliminated or marked to be highly visible. Not a huge fan of the Windmark Beach area/Neighborhood. The homes are very close together, the streets are narrow, and it is a hike to the beach. The beaches in this area are very narrow and the water clarity is not great. If you love the blue and emerald waters of PCB and Mexico Beach, you probably will not like the beaches in this area. ##### Matthew H. Beautiful and had everything we needed and more. Stephanie was amazing. Answered our many questions and gave us tons of ideas. We can tell that she enjoys hosting. Super organized and very sweet person. We also loved how relaxing this area was- plenty to do, but we choose just to sit around and relax. While we did not walk to the beach, it was only an 8-minute bicycle ride. I would like to note, on the ride to the beach, the kids and I saw a Bald Eagle. Another option is you can take a short drive to a public parking lot for the beach trailhead. With both options, you don’t have to leave the subdivision. There is an old portion of the old US Hwy 30 near the beach access where you can have a leisurely walk or ride. This home has a well-equipped kitchen where you can easily cook meals or hang out. There is plenty of room for a large family or two couples with kids. The whole family enjoyed the bikes and paddle boards included with this stay. Lastly, this host provides beach carts with this rental, and because of this, we had more room in the car for a more comfortable trip. ##### John R.
