Roads End was exactly what we hoped it would be. It was remote enough for us to get unplugged yet only a short drive if we needed supplies or wanted to visit local shops or restaurants. We loved our stay in this house. The beach was so private it felt like we were in a different country. We had plenty of room for our family (partner 2 teenagers) and never felt crowded. I love to cook fresh seafood and the kitchen had all the tools I needed, the fish market was right up the road. If you think you may need to bring it, bring it. We only had 2 sets of towels and rags for each person for a 4 night 3 day stay. The house is plain and simple. The minor repairs is no problem. But the very large soft spot in the floor made my heart drop each time we walked on it. No way to walk around it. Beautiful shoreline for miles, with nearby bays and canals. Great fishing, secluded beaches, friendly people, and no traffic. If your goal is to unwind and decompress, then stay here. We enjoyed every second of it. The house’s private boardwalk makes for easy beach access 24/7, and you don’t have to share it with anyone of course!
