Mermaid Manor is the perfect stay for your relaxing Florida vacation getaway! Located downtown Port St. Joe, you will be just a seashell's throw from the beautiful beach and water. This beach-y, mermaid-inspired cottage is charming and welcoming, and offers all of the essentials for a hassle-free stay! \*Sleeps 3 \*Kitchenette + dedicated workspace \*Pets allowed \*Free laundry \*Accessible \*Outdoor seating + fire pit The property is set up for contactless entry. We will not be at the property in person and communication through the app is preferred. Our neighborhood is full of other charming beach cottages and offers a quaint and quiet atmosphere. The home is centrally located in the heart of Port St. Joe, within walking distance of shopping and restaurants. You will be close to lots of outdoor activities, food, and entertainment options, including walking trails, live music, dining, shopping, the Sea Turtle Museum, the historical Lighthouse, and St. Joe Bay. Guests will have access to the lower unit of our turquoise beach home. You have your own private entrance and your own private screened-in porch. You share communal yard with other guests. Welcome to our cozy, beach-y cottage, conveniently located in the heart of Port St. Joe. The space is considered a studio apartment because it is the lower level of a renovated home. You will have your own private entrance that opens up to an open-concept living, dining, and kitchenette. Enjoy a movie on the comfy couch and prepare a delicious meal in the well-equipped kitchenette. We’ve included all of the basics to ensure guests are able to easily cook during their stay. You’ll find a refrigerator/freezer, microwave, dishes/utensils, cooking basics, coffee maker/coffee, toaster, double burner electric cooktop and more. The bedroom is set apart from the rest of the unit but does not have a private door. It features a queen bed and there is also an extra area with a daybed, trundle, and vanity. The full bathroom is stocked with toiletries and plenty of linens. Relax on the private screened-in porch or enjoy star gazing outside by the fire pit. Additional amenities at the unit include a fish cleaning station, a communal laundry room (free of charge), and an outdoor shower. There is free parking onsite. As we are centrally located, guests can easily walk to many of the restaurants and stores downtown. The most convenient way to move through town is walking, biking, or driving. Please note that currently Uber and Lyft are not available in our area. \*We have boat parking available to our guests on a first come first serve basis. \*Please note that any VRBO and direct booking cancellations will incur credit card fees. \*Mermaid Manor is a great spot for an individual guest, a couple, or a couple with a small child who are looking for a central location. \*Our home allows you to self-check in and have your own private space, but we do have 3 other homes on the property. \*We are pet-friendly and have plenty of space to accommodate 2 pets. Our pet fee is $150\. Please include them on your booking and the pet fee will automatically be added to the booking. \*Please make sure to read and understand our house rules before booking! Recommendations to check out: \- Downtown is walkable and you will find shops, restaurants, live music, and more! \- St. Joe Bay is 2 mins away. \- St. Joe Beach is 8 mins away. \- Mexico Beach and Cape San Blas are less than 15 mins away. \- St. Joseph Peninsula State Park for access to the beach and the bay. It offers natural hiking trails, miles of untouched beaches, and access to launch kayaks or paddle boards. \- Salinas Park is a 15 mins drive away, where you can have the amazing experience of horseback riding on the beach \- If you are interested in wildlife and natural beauty, plan a trip over to St. Vincent Island by ferry boat for the day. Hike around the island and explore our native wildlife and foliage. \- About 30 miles away is the historical fishing community of Apalachicola. It's perfect for a day trip to do a little shopping, stroll along the Apalachicola River, or grab some of the best seafood around! The only possible downside is we have a 3/4 ton diesel truck and the parking spot for us would have been really tight if there had been other people staying at the adjoining properties.
