DETAILS: Let worries fall away at Castaway Cove, a 4-bed, 4.5-bath Cape San Blas home that sleeps 12\. Located within The Preserve, a newly developed community, guests can experience everything this secluded stretch of The Forgotten Coast offers—from kayaking in St. Joe's Bay to exploring the historic fishing town of nearby Apalachicola. Guests will especially love the Gulf views, private pool, and that this pet-friendly home is 125 steps from the beach!  
  
Touches of nautical and beach décor accent walls the color of a cloudless sky in this 2-story Florida home. The sun-filled great room is on the third floor, easily accessible via stairs or the elevator. Gather the whole family on the large, plush sectional in the living area or stretch out to watch the 58†TV. Around the corner is the spacious kitchen, equipped with a 5-burner induction stovetop, breakfast bar that seats 5, and a beverage cooler. Chill a bottle of wine to enjoy on the furnished balcony, steps past the 10-person dining table. This floor has 1 guest bedroom with a king bed.  
  
Outside, prepare for a game of volleyball on the sand court, followed by a swim in the private pool. Don’t forget to rinse off at the outdoor shower, and there is a full bathroom on the ground floor for convenience! As the day ends, share stories around the firepit while the setting sun tints the sky with a glowing mix of pastel pink and orange.  
  
Head to the second floor to find 2 guest bedrooms and a primary bedroom with a king bed and private bath. The first guest bedroom has a king bed, and the second has 2 queen beds with 2 lofted twin beds. All the bedrooms in this home have deck access and water views. #### Family Week at the Beach

Great property. Great location. Sparsely populated beach. We rented a golf cart with beach permit for grandma to be able to get to the beach. There was no access allowing golf cart onto beach and she was not able to spend.much time with us on the beach.

This house was fabulous! It was even better than the pictures portrayed. It was clean, spacious, kitchen was well-equipped and the home was full of activities and games for kids. The bunk bed room was great- the bunks are strong and built so well, the yard is beautiful, the kitchen was bigger than expected. Loved being able to see the beach from the porch and sit in those spacious, comfy porch chairs. The living room was stocked full of board games and puzzles for all ages. The kitchen had everything from crab crackers to kids plates and cups, and everything was great quality. The elevator was great for our elderly and kid family members. The pool was such a treat after a day at the beach, and the house even had some extra pool and sand toys. It’s honestly hard to criticize anything, which says a lot for me. The location was also great, it was close to the ice cream and coffee shop, and the Trading Post. I always worry about the beach, because it varies depending on where your house is and how the erosion is in that area. This beach was surprisingly large, plenty of space and nobody was on top of each other out on the beach. We were truly so happy with our stay and just wish it could’ve been longer. Hoping to book it sooner so we can get more days next time! Thank you so much for your hospitality and beautiful home
