"Beautiful setting. Our first time in Port Renfrew and we were lucky to get the place for one night. Because it was such a short stay we didn’t bring food or cook in what seemed to be a well-appointed kitchen. Bedroom was comfy and cozy; slept gorgeously. Also, some notes: Would have appreciated the hospitality of coffee/tea service. Lighting in the main room was bright and unwelcoming; eating indoors in that space would have been uncomfortable, I’m guessing."

"This is a beautifully maintained property with the best patio view you could ask for. We loved the morning vibes — a cool breeze, mountain views, the sound of waves, birds chirping, and a great cup of coffee. It made for such a wonderful stay, with quiet, clean rooms throughout."

"We had a great time at the lodge. It was a basic room (which is what we expected at the price) but we had everything we needed, including coffee maker, towels, dish rack, dish soap, cutlery, can opener, microwave, central to everything. Other reviewers are correct about the Internet/TV being slow but we didn't care. One of the housekeepers heard my husband call me a birthday girl and I got a note from the lodge that they heard and wanted to give me a complimentary sauna. It was an excellent hour and a half. The sauna room is lovely and has it's own covered patio with chairs and a cold plunge pool. Would stay here again!"

"It was perfect for our group of 5 adults. Great location for hiking and taking a fishing charter. Marina is 5mins away beside Nordic Spa. Clean, very comfortable, beautifully decorated. It had all amenities needed. There is a small grocery store and several places to eat with in walking distance. Would recommend to others. Side note to those driving up via Sooke the road is very wavy(bumpy) so if you are prone to car illness take something prior to drive. Very scenic with lots of places to stop and take a stroll or picnic along the way."
