Enjoyed the comfortable bed and quality sheets. Good bathroom. Food in the restauraunt of the hotel was excellent.The staff were friendly,welcoming and very helpful.

Great location! Beautifully set out and very luxurious. Much more upmarket then other motels/hotels. Great looking little restaurant that smelt amazing as we walked through. The host was very nice and gave us a great recommendation for morning tea. Thankyou so much for our comfortable stay!

Best Hotel in Pirie
Very nice well maintained hotel. Attentive and friendle staff. Limited off street parking, but plenty of free on street parking out the front, just need to be mindfull if time limits.

Ellen Hotel is a superb small elegant hotel and it exceeded our expectations. We loved everything about it. The room was wonderful, the restaurant small but elegant and food and presentation first class. Parking was easy. This hotel certainly deserves 5 star.

The front foyer and bar were delightful/classy. Staff very friendly and rooms very clean and well finished/appointed. Pity there were no dinner options in house that night as we'd have liked to try the interesting menu. This hotel is a cut above the average/a gem.

The bathrooms were modern, very well done and very clean Would have liked to try the restaurant but it was full on the Fri night not many upmarket dining options in Pt Pirie and this hotel trying to fill a gap

Great hotel But
The hotel is probably one of the best in the town, you cannot fault the hotel and its location, however the reception staff was not friendly, didn't acknowledge us and doesn't smile, that let the visit down

We arrived to quite a lukewarm welcome. The staff member working on reception didn’t even greet us with a hello. We checked in and were told the carpark was around the back, however it was full (we had to park on the street for the duration of our stay). Our stay did get better though. Our room was beautifully designed and positioned with amenities as described. We couldn’t fault the room or cleanliness of room. We would likely stay again as it seems to be the best hotel in the area.

The hotel was probably the best place to stay in town. The entry and dining room were very nicely decorated. The rooms were good with comfy beds. The bathroom was clean and modern. The only odd thing was that the fridge was just randomly placed at the end of the bed not built in to the joinery.
