"Unfortunately the cleanliness of this house was not up to standard. Presumably it hadn’t been let for awhile as we were greeted with a very musty smell. A lot of the crockery was chipped or cracked - neither of which is acceptable. The stairs didn’t have any bannister so I found them quite difficult to use. We never did find the private swimming pool which was actually a communal pool shared between the neighbouring houses. The listing implied it was private to this house, and looked as though it was situated in their own garden. This was not the case, and the house didn’t in fact have a garden. Overall very disappointing "

"The owner provided excellent information before arriving and arranged to meet us to take us to the apartment. Apartment was well equipped and nicely furnished and in an ideal position within a lovely medieval town. Parking was very near as are many very good restaurants. There is a large supermarket 5 minutes walk away. I would highly recommend this apartment and as a place to explore the Basque region by car or local bus."

"The apartment is well positioned right next to the navette across the bay to Spain and is only a short walk from the fabulous beach and the view from the balcony is lovely. It is a little tired in places but was clean and warm with lots of hot water. Communication with the host was good and we were met on our arrival. The parking space is very welcome and would be even more so in high season. We had to leave several days early as building works started in the restaurant below and the noise was too much. This was not the fault of the host who offered a refund for the nights lost. I would recommend this apartment if you are staying in Hendaye but don't forget your sheets and towels! I can't quite understand why, when paying such high rents, these basics are not provided but it seems to be the way with coastal rentals. "

"Iker on the front desk was fabulous. Our cleaning lady was great. Super convenient walk into this very cute town. Ate at Sugarri restaurant which was very good. Pool wasn't open which was a shame since it was still very warm out. The ac in our room is controlled by the front desk but turns itself off after a while i guess. We did have to call down in the middle of the night when we woke up hot to ask them to turn it back on."
