The view was stupendous and the neighborhood was safe and suburban. It did take about an hour to get to downtown Vancouver though. The owner was responsive to our needs. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was fine. We cooked dinner most nights and hosts usually have butter, oil and spices in the house. Three of the bedrooms were very comfortable but the 4th is only really appropriate for a child. The kitchen is extremely well stocked and the deck and backyard are truly beautiful. Getting in and out of the house is not easy for anyone with mobility issues- two steep stairways, one of which doesn't have a handrail. The driveway is a bit unsettling- backing into it is better than backing out although you can turn around in the driveway if there is only one car.
