Alert Bay is unique with a rich cultural history. We did a hike - the tall tree hike and it was short but beautiful...as well as a beach walk on rhe north side of the island. "The view from the studio apartment is mesmerizing. The location overlooks a tranquil bay and it's easy to just spend the day watching it. But there are other things to do -- explore the island and walk the beaches. The apartment and our hosts were perfect.
