I wanted to love this property, especially with the proximity to the beach. But, from the moment we arrived, we noted the key was in a lockbox downstairs, however the digital lock on the home was not functioning. This created a challenge if people in our family needed to go back and forth to the house. Several items in the home did not appear to be well cleaned or maintained, including the door screen, daybed in the living room, and bunk beds upstairs. During our last night, water began pouring from the upstairs level into the living room. We contacted the host who did not seem to react with a sense of urgency. Additionally, we noticed cans of "ceiling paint" in the laundry room, which confirms that this is not a new issue. When I asked about a late check out, I was told that the next guest was due to check in early. There's no possible way they could make the necessary and complete repairs to the drywall, paint and leak in the short window between our checkout and the next check in. Very disappointed that these details took away from a very important moment for our family. Do not recommend!
