"This is my 3rd stay in 4 years at this property and was pleased with the staff and community the hotel is located in. Outside the property cleanliness and helpful staff, the first room I was in had an air conditioner unit that sounded like a race car starting up when the compressor started. The young lady was very helpful in moving me to a new room."
Elegant 3BR in the Heart of Historic Ste Genevieve
10/10 Excellent
"We loved our visit to Ste. Genevieve and staying in this home. It was exceptionally clean when we arrived and our family of 5 had plenty of space to spread out. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was stocked, and it was a convenient location to walk to shops and restaurants. The home decor and furnishings are thoughtful and beautiful!"

"There was some confusion on the air conditioning being kept at 78 degrees as stated on the note on the refrigerator. We thought we couldn't change the setting to make it cooler while we were there, hence we weren't very comfortable in the evenings when at the house. Maybe the 78 degrees was for when we left but we weren't certain. Temperature was the main concern during our stay. Otherwise, the house gave us memories of our Granny and Grandmother which was good. The location is absolutely ideal!!"

"Had a wonderful stay. Property is as described, with the added amenity of a coffee and tea bar on one side of the bedroom. Super clean, charming, comfortable, and the host was very responsive. Within walking distance of everything in the historic district, lots of restaurants, historic homes, and information centers. Had some great meals, but save room for ice cream at Sara’s. Small shop, but amazing ice cream and friendly folks. This was one of the most relaxing short trips I’ve had. I will definitely stay here again!"
"I stayed there on the weekend as part of a business trip and it was very clean. The staff were very polite and were ready to help out at a moments notice when I had one issue with regards to finding plastic cutlery. The rooms were nothing phenomenal at the same time For what was needed. It was appropriate. What you pay as what you get. Overall this was probably one of the best value for money in the area."
"We had a lovely stay! We enjoyed being able to walk to the shops and restaurants nearby. The hostess was very thoughtful and there were lots of cute little decorative touches. I would stay here again!"
"Cozy Haven is all about location and comfort. Just two blocks from the village core, it’s close enough to walk everywhere yet set back in a quiet common area behind the Green Tree Tavern (Janis‑Ziegler House). The result is a cottage that feels both connected and private.Evenings here were especially pleasant — cooler, breezy, and peaceful. The cottage itself is very comfortable and impressively stocked; you’ll keep discovering small, thoughtful touches throughout your stay. With very few neighbors nearby, it stays quiet day and night.Jayne and Justin are excellent hosts, and I highly recommend both the property and the experience."
