"This place is very old. And I gave it a benefit of doubt but it was dirty beyond measure. The carpet is FILTHY. I mean stains everywhere I was afraid to walk around with no socks or slides. But the worst part of it all is I was asleep and around 4:45am I roll over and see a shadow of a huge bug. So I immediately get up and turn the light on it’s a HUGE ROACH. I tried killing it but it went to the back of the bed. At that point I was stressed out because I was not going to sleep with a roach near me. I went to the front desk and the guy tried to come and kill it. He blamed it on “Texas weather” smh. Anyways he couldn’t find it but found a dead cricket . My goodness so this place isn’t deep cleaning at ALL. So he moved me into another room and at this point I have already started to record. I go to the other room. And exam this too and it’s literally old food under the bed. Ugh! I was so grossed out so overwhelmed that I could not go back to sleep AT ALL. I asked for a late check out but I was ready to leave by 9am. It’s not that it’s outdated it’s that it’s outdated and dirty as heck. "The staff was rude. Room was smelly in the door. Nooks was too dead roaches ceiling above in the air-conditioning area was falling apart. The showerhead was coming off the wall. The bathroom door was sticking and the towel hook for The bathroom was coming off the door. staff was very rude would not give us more towels will not be staying there anymore."

"We went to this hotel with low expectations, and were pleasantly surprised. We stayed in the Doubletree on I-35 a few weeks ago and this hotel is FAR better. The room was clean, breakfast was great, parking was free. Highly recommend for a stay in Austin."
