The windmill is iconic, very cool place to stay. You do need a car but there is so much in a short drive. We were here for 5 nights after spending two in Ponta Delgada and loved the garden. I love the quirkiness of the house and the excellent use of space. The bedroom is nice and spacious and everything about it feels authentic and cosy. There is also a beautifully friendly cat that frequents the garden and is partial to a cuddle!
