"This home is beautifully decorated and a great highend feel away from home. All of the amenities were great & the home is kept clean. The host was great with communication. My only negative is that the area outside the home has limited dining options other than at small place across the street that closes at 6pm 4 days a week and is more a yummy breakfast or lunch spot (also with kind owners). Also there is no Uber on the island, only Bolt and it's new so it may be hard at times to get drivers...

First they wanted copies of all our guest’s passports and due to internet problems I was unable to send copies. I was then able to send names passport number and dates of birth. "Place appears newly renovated, with fairly good quality materials and large rooms. Location is close to the town core - about a 10-15 minute walk. Immediate area is of older less well kept buildings and perhaps these will also participate in restoration over time - we did not feel uncomfortable walking the area, but did experience street noise, particularly the front bedroom and living room. Parking lot about 50m away for 1 Euro per 24 hours that was convenient vs street parking. Ad posting...

"Amazing trip with my fiancé, would not book another hotel. Amazing outdoor pool, indoor pool, hot tub spa and food/ drinks were great. Best location possible"

"Definitely consider this hotel! Solo traveler who liked the small 'apartment' style room I booked. One room was a kitchenette with table/tv/sofa and another was the bedroom with attached bath. I could cook or microwave food and store items in the refrigerator. The Hotel seemed relatively new or newly-renovated. Breakfast was provided and it was well staffed and offered a range of food and drink options. Nice location just a few blocks from the center of Ponta Delgada and a view of the Atlantic Ocean. I did not partake of the hotel's offered baths and pool, but many did. One downside is a tiny elevator so on occasion have to take the stairs to save time--five floors up for me--worked off a few calories."

"Beautiful property right by the water/boardwalk, close to the airport. Rooms were spacious and clean, staff was very helpful and friendly. Walking distance to lots of restaurants. Property was very well maintained, breakfast buffets was great too. Would highly recommend staying here if visiting the island."

"This hotel was such a surprise! We had an unexpected layover in the Azores, and booked this hotel at the last minute. As soon as we arrived, we were welcomed with cold towels (it was summer) and were amazed by the beautiful property. We were also also mindblown by the handwritten welcome card and the fruit basket. The staff was very courteous and helpful. We could not believe that such a first class breakfast was included in our stay. Chefs that are ready to take your order, buffets of protein, fruits, cheeses, pastries and so much more. This stay was absolutely incredible!"

"It’s a nice hotel. Great location close to the main downtown. Great pool and jacuzzi. Unfortunately there is no mini fridge in the rooms and there’s limited storage for clothes in the rooms. They should allow you to loan a towel for the thermal hot springs. The maids and staff were great. Good breakfast options, typical European choices. All in all a nice hotel for a fair price."
