Couples looking for a peaceful escape will also appreciate the village centre. It provides a relaxed setting away from city life, with opportunities for gentle strolls through the village or more challenging hikes in the Poľana Protected Landscape Area.

Winter transforms Poniky into a snowy landscape, ideal for skiing and snowboarding. The nearby ski resorts, such as Donovaly or Šachtičky, are easily accessible and offer a range of slopes for various skill levels. If you enjoy crisp, cold air and winter sports, this is an excellent time to visit.
