"Beautiful hotel! The staff was so friendly and service minded. It was a little difficult to find the hotel when driving, but you go into the Park Village. I would recommend to anyone! "

"I am a solo female traveller. Zanzibar House is an excellent property in so many ways. The staff are friendly and helpful. The grounds are a delight to be in, with lots of comfortable places to sit and read or contemplate the beauty of the area.
I did not use the pool and I am sure it would be lovely.
At night time I had an evening meal which was tasty and they accommodated my dietary requirements very well. I am gluten intolerant. I recommend this hotel if you like quiet and beauty filled...

"The room was big and it was clean. Had hot water for the shower. Enjoyed my stay. The staff were very helpful. The only problem that I had with the room was that it had that old musty smell to it. I was thinking because the hotel is so old that’s why it has that smell. I would stay here again."

"The Mora is a beautiful property with lots of ameneties like spa, dving center and lots of activities. The pools are really nice as well. We enjoyed our stay there but for us to go back few things would need to improve. The cost to stay there is high so we had a level of expectation that was similar to what we got at all inlcusive high end hotels in Kenya. Unfortinately we were disappointed.
Drinks: While they are included the quality that was provided was terrible. For example $5 bottles of wine are included that taste terrible and all decent wines have a surcharge. Hard liquor was some local brand that wasn't drinkable. Surcharges for decent liquor was very high.
Staff: While staff are nice there is a significant language barrier. If you ask for coffee a certain way or a drink to be made a certian way the staff do not understand. While friendly they need better training.
Drinks quality and staff need improvement for us to comsider this resort in the future."
"Loved this property and the staff. We had a situation with our rental car and they had a staff member walk to where we had parked the car and he actually drove our rental car back to the hotel and then called the guy we rented the car from and asked him to come by the hotel to pick up the car. I think that was above and beyond and we truly appreciated the extra time and help."
"Our stay here was fine. The hotel is right on the water with a great proximity to StoneTown shopping and the sights. The breakfast was very good and the staff was helpful. Recommended!"
"I love staying in Stonetown and this was the perfect location. The staff was very nice and the accommodations were satisfactory. It is an older property, as are most accommodations in Stonetown but the room was clean, the bed was comfortable and it was a pleasant stay. "
"We had an amazing stay at this hotel in Zanzibar and would highly recommend it, especially for families or anyone looking for a relaxed break rather than the more touristy feel of some of the other beaches and resorts.
The hotel is beautifully located close to the beach, with each room being very spacious and easily accessible. The breakfast buffet is vast and really good with crepes and omelettes made to order! We especially enjoyed the Masai dancing and the Italian-themed seafood barbecue held right on the beach. The staff were extremely attentive and genuinely made us feel well looked after. The nightly turn-down service, including having the mosquito nets sprayed each evening meant we were not plagued by mosquitoes each night - the staff paid attention to the little details, and nothing ever seemed too much trouble.
There is also a tourist company located on site, which made organising day trips very easy. Taxis are readily available, and it is only around a 20-minute ride to Kiwengwa where you will find another fabulous beach and plenty of restaurants to explore.
What really stood out for us, though, was the atmosphere. Rather than feeling like we were simply staying in a hotel, we felt as though we were being welcomed into a family. The warmth and friendliness of everyone made it feel like a true home away from home.
A huge thank you to Santosh, Suzan, Charles and Frank for making our stay so special and for making it feel like home away from home."
"Not one complaint 10/10 everyone was nice the food was amazing great shows we loved it so much we had to stay and extra day and we were so mad we had to leave will definitely be coming back !!!!!!!!!!"
