Clean and comfortable

It was a perfect place for us to stay for two nights while we prepared for our trek. It's right at the lake so enjoyed the location. Don't expect much of a view because of a new building that has come up. Overall a good stay. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel as there were many cheaper options available by the lake side.

Basic hotel room but very comfy beds... all we needed! Perfect location. Only downside was the breakfast, not much choice and most of it was noodles, curry etc, no continental choice other than toast and there was only 1 2 slice toaster for all the guests.

Alles was man braucht

Lage an einem Ende der Lakeside Touristenstraße und doch ruhiger, weil in zweiter Reihe mit schönem Blick auf See und Berge, insbesondere von Dach (= Frühstücks- und Restaurantbereich). Matratzen gut, Wasser nicht immer warm. Entgegenkommendes Personal (eine zuviel gebuchte und nicht mehr zu stornierende Nacht konnte mit Essen in Restaurant zumindest teilweise ausgeglichen werden). Bei früher Abreise Angebot eines Picknickpakets anstelle des versäumten Frühstücks. Fazit: alles, was wir für diesen Preis erwartet haben

Hotel correcto para pasar pocas noches. Lo mejor son las vistas al lago y montañas. La ubicación no esta mal puesto que no estás en El Centro y es más tranquilo y menos ruidoso, pero en pocos minutos llegas a él.

Nice quiet hotel. Great Staff. Close to the Lake.

We loved the Hotel The Coast! Especially the staff, who provided great service and helped us with our trekking plans. We were matched with the perfect porter for our needs and a driver to drop of us off at our start point and pick us up when we finished. The room was a nice size and had a balcony overlooking the lake. The view of Machupuchre was a beautiful backdrop to the dining room and the breakfast buffet was very good.
