Guest Access
You can enjoy Happy Place Nils—your apartment—all to yourselves. This includes a private sauna and a private terrace with seating and a lounge chair.

You also have access to the communal terrace, the sunroom (expected to open in Q3 2026), and the large garden.

The Happy Place is located in a quiet, family-friendly area—right on the edge of the forest, with a stunning view of the valley.
From here, you can set out right away on a hike, go for a bike ride, or take the kids on a journey of discovery: babbling streams, forest trails, and unspoiled nature begin right at your doorstep.

By car, you can reach Lake Bigge or the idyllic Oestertalsperre in just a few minutes—perfect for swimming, stand-up paddleboarding, or simply relaxing. The AquaMagis water park, with its spectacular slides, is also just a short drive away.

There’s plenty for families to discover: Europe’s largest adventure cave in Balve, the exciting Phänomenta museum in Lüdenscheid, the Karl May Festival, a charming, historic cinema right in Plettenberg—and numerous farms offering regional products.

You can reach city centre Plettenberg in 5 minutes by car or in about 15 minutes on foot. There, you’ll find cafés, ice cream parlours, restaurants, and small shops perfect for strolling.

Upon request, you can book an external laundry service. Your laundry will be conveniently picked up from the house and returned to you fresh, fragrant, and—depending on your booking—ironed.
