"Incredible place to stay, as well as an incredible location. We really enjoyed our stay here, it was unique and Yelapa is a beautiful, and special place. Erik went above and beyond with his communication, and he made our first Mexico trip far easier. He gave us many tips and we felt comfortable with traveling. Garcia rentals as a whole is very accommodating and we will be checking to see if they have rentals available anytime we visit Mexico. Thank you Erik!"

"We had a wonderful stay in Yelapa and truly loved our time at this vacation rental. It was very comfortable for our family of five and had everything we needed to relax and enjoy our trip. The location was perfect — centrally located and convenient for accessing markets, restaurants, and everything around town.The views were absolutely stunning, with beautiful scenery of both the jungle and the ocean. We especially appreciated the accordion doors and windows that opened up the space and let in the refreshing ocean breeze. The air conditioning in the bedrooms also made sleeping much more comfortable after warm days exploring.The kitchen was very well equipped with dishes, cooking tools, and even basic spices, which made preparing meals easy. Our family also enjoyed the family-friendly games that were available — such a thoughtful touch.The hosts were fantastic and always just a message away. They responded quickly whenever we had questions or needed anything.Overall, we made many wonderful family memories here and are so grateful for our experience in Yelapa. We hope to visit again soon!"

"AC did not work but the fan worked. Some of the furniture was worn or broken. But overall, for Mexico, and especially Yelapa where there are limited amenities, it was fairly good. The staff were helpful, especially Ismar, who spoke some English. As my Spanish is poor I was grateful for that!"

"We enjoyed our stay. The restaurant was accomadating to us and it really was a nice stay. We deffinately enjoyed the cabana. It was very comfortable and served us well. The hot water wasn't working but we were able to use a different cabanas shower. "

"The room was so interesting and beautiful. But the grounds were the best part, the outside areas were serene and well landscaped. My friend and I enjoyed sitting out or enjoying a hammock by the river often. I also enjoyed that there was a small row boat that I could row over to the beach area. We had our first dinner there and it was the most delicious meal of our 14 day trip (the volcano one)."

"Casa Palmas, James, and his crew in Yelapa are all first rate! The care and communication we received was prompt, clear, and courteous. It helps to have a Spanish speaker in your group but it is not essential. James translated everything we could not communicate ourselves to Filipe. The home is perfectly situated and very thoughtfully laid out to accommodate up to 8 people. We were just 4 but never felt like it was too much house. The A/C was excellent and indispensable for getting a good nights rest. The beds are very comfortable, and the bathrooms clean and private. The bedrooms could do with some blackout shades and for light sleepers I would recommend earplugs. The kitchen is well equipped and we found all the groceries we needed just around the corner.I don't want to say anything that would put someone off of going to Yelapa because there is so much to love about it, but it's probably fair to say it is not for the person needing a pristine, curated tourist experience. Rather, it is a place a seasoned traveler will find great local food, many friendly folks and some who are clearly weary of serving tourists. That said, the pace can be what you want it to be. Mornings at Casa Palmas we sat on the deck overlooking the harbor watching it come to life while drinking coffee. Frigate birds, pelicans, doves, parrots, and hawks all added to the sights and sounds right in front of us with the ocean in the distance and the cove at our feet. Swim, hike, paddle or lounge. Enjoy!"

"This was a trip of a lifetime. The views are to die for, the helpers were awesome, and the casa was everything we expected. Yanet made us a delicious shrimp dinner, Edson delivered us safe and sound both ways, and Yael was there in the morning tending to the pool, dumping the garbage, and cleaning up after the visitors we had in the middle of he night. There are a lot of stairs so if you if you have any mobility challenges, I would suggest one of their other beautiful casas on Yelapa.There is a 50 peso per person each way marina fee when getting picked up at Marina Vallarta so be prepared for that.There were a couple restaurants that did take card if you are low on cash or pesos. We only ate out for dinners and thoroughly enjoyed every one. Everywhere we went everyone was so kind and helpful.Thank you again for always being very responsive and the open communication."

"It was further from the beach than expected. One must take a quad to get up to this place with luggage. The place was very clean and quaint. It is fairly central which was nice. Very tasty food at some of the restaurants."
