Insertado en el corazón de la zona dorada, 5a bis y calle 38 a unos pasos del mar. La habitación 703 un estudio penthouse doble altura con hermosas vistas a mar y con acceso directo a la piscina. Con bellos acabados rústicos de madera y techos de palapa. Al ser un proyecto experimental, sigue en construcción , pero sin ruido. No cuenta con elevador. El EMPIRE CARIBE, ofrece una experiencia única en cuanto a hospedaje en Playa del Carmen. UNA ARQUITECTURA TEMATICA, El Empire Caribe está inspirado en la película "LA DAMA DE SHANGAI" de Orson Wells 1947, una romántica historia protagonizada por Rita Hayworth que se desarrolla en las costas mexicanas de los años 40s. El edificio es una analogía del velero donde se desarrolla el filme . LAS HABITACIONES SON COMO LOS CAMAROTES DE ESTA EMBARCACION . Fotogramas de la película ambientan los espacios . TODO el edificio ESTA HECHO con MATERIALES SUSTENTABLES. Los pisos, muros de madera. Techos de palapa, albercas de resina de Chukum árbol sagrado de los mayas. Todo el mobiliario hecho a mano y con madera por artesanos mayas de la zona. El Empire Caribe es un proyecto experimental, por lo que se construye en etapas, por ahora solo funciona una parte. Ya que todo está hecho a mano y de manera artesanal , requiere de tiempos y procesos distintos a lo que existe en Playa. Quien se hospeda en el Empire Caribe sabe que su experiencia será única, pero que debe asumir formas distintas de hospedarse, no cuenta con elevador , ni estacionamiento , se deben subir escaleras, pero lo atractivo de su precio , lo bello del lugar así como su privilegiada ubicación , hace que ciertos inconvenientes no sean una falta de confort.
