"I absolutely loved my stay here. The location is beautiful, nestled into the mountains and a short drive to Samaria Gorge and the White Mountains. There is an incredibly sweet local/rural vibe that feels very safe to walk around and see the local goats and sheep. The breakfast and meals here are incredible, some of the best meals I had in Crete. The rooms are basic but very clean."

"The toilet seat was broken, and we had to wait half a day for it to be fixed. The Wi-Fi was terrible, and we couldn’t get a 5G signal at all. The soundproofing in the room was awful. On our last night, a couple staying in the room above us were fighting and shouting, waking us up at 4 a.m. We informed the manager, but he was unable to resolve the situation. "This place is a hidden gem. Prime location, oceanfront, the beach and ocean is right there. Everything you need in a little flat. The place is well maintained by its owners, it is extremely clean. The place has pool access, with tons of shopping, restaurants, and grocery shops nearby."

"The one bed suite was very spacious and comfortable. Plenty of sun loungers and tables outside including own chairs directly outside room. Really friendly and welcoming staff. Short walk via hill into town. Ideal place for exploring hiking trails and Platanias. No shop or restaurant on site but plenty in local area so not an issue. Pool a decent size and well maintained. Great view."
