A nice area right next to the strip and the history museum. Seems to be a safer area than most. Staff was friendly. Pull out bed was super thin, but other than that, would recommend, especially for the location a little off the busy downtown and a few minutes walk to the strip that had several amenities….Starbucks, Shake Shake, Chipolte, etc.

AMAZING! We came to Pittsburgh for a baseball game and to tour the town. This was an excellent spot for both. The staff was helpful and friendly, the amenities were great. We will definitely be back!

We found Homewood Suites downtown Pittsburgh to be the perfect spot for our weekend trip. The location was ideal for our event as it was right on the water, and close to the Strip District for food and entertainment. We were in town for a rowing regatta and were easily able to bike along the course from the hotel to view the race. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was nice, spacious and clean. The continental breakfast was well presented and tasty. Would return. Stayed at another hotel nearby about 6 weeks ago and much prefer the Homewood Suites over that option, even though the 1st was more costly.

I enjoyed my stay but housekeeping could tighten up a little with the hair in the towels and sheets. Also the room had a stale smell which leaves you questioning if the room was cleaned or just staged. Overall a comfortable stay but the details would take this place to the top!
