A Magical Winter Escape

Our stay at Piney Creek was nothing short of magical. We woke up to a soft, snowy morning that made the entire landscape look like something out of a winter fairy tale. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking—quiet, peaceful, and incredibly calming.The cabin itself was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully prepared. Every detail made us feel welcome and comfortable, from the warm, inviting atmosphere to the way the space seemed perfectly designed for relaxation. Whether we were sipping coffee by the window or stepping outside to take in the snow-covered trees, we felt completely immersed in nature.It was the perfect escape and a weekend we won’t forget. We can’t wait to come back!

If we could give this darling A-Frame cabin more than five stars we would. It was the perfect place for our weekend in the mountains. We started our day with an espresso on the balcony watching hawks and wild turkeys. The location was perfect to cruise the Blue Ridge Parkway, explore mountain back roads, visit a local Ale House, check out local crafts all without the crowds in those more touristy mountains towns. After our day of exploring we came back to our beautiful A-Frame with all the comforts of home. It has everything you need for a relaxing evening, games, movies and even a turntable with an assortment of records to choose from. Or you can, as we did, just star gaze on the front porch. If you are thinking of a fall leaf get away or you need to unwind from the world chose Piney Creek A-Fame I guarantee the views will be great and no crowds. This was a great house such pretty views and neat-o A frame!It was spot to small town hop from in the NC/VA mountains. The house was perfectly stocked with cozy blankets, kitchen necessities like tin foil, kitchen nice to haves like a really cool electric espresso maker, and even used the record player a few times! The hosts were communicative and helpful.
