"Our stay was truly awesome. We stayed in the Sunset Villa...It was exceptional...Everything about the Villa was exactly as seen on the website. The greenery was so luscious. The views were Majestic. Very quaint and intimate location. Very romantic too. The pool was well maintained and cleaned everyday. Breakfast was delicious and the staff catered to our everyday need. The lunch and dinner menu was decent. Nothing special...but sufficient. There are gym facilities there..no treadmill..but you can manage to get some type of workout. Also, you have to take stairs everyday for breakfast or to get to the main office. They were very steep and no guard rails...They are definitely safety hazard. Other that, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves."

I did not realize that the rooms did not have A/C, so things were hot the first night (reception closed at 8:00), but they were able to get me another fan the second night l, which made things better. Overall, we really enjoyed the stay which included access to a local swimming hole which was very refreshing. The restaurant was the most expensive meal we had in Costa Rica and to be honest, the food was not bad, but not good. Definitely not worth the money spent. We found food more reasonably priced and better tasting outside the resort. I would strongly recommend this site if you want great views, friendly staff, the feeling of being alone, and don’t mind no AC."
