"Of all the places we stayed at in Costa Rica, this one was the absolute best value for money. We made a last minute reservation here for one night on our way back from Corcovado and I honestly regret not staying for longer. The property is small but stunning. They appear to not only have a pool but also a sauna. Everything looked exactly as the images online. Our room was comfortably sized, the bathroom was modern and most importantly had a bidet (which is someone I have sorely missed in Costa Rica since you can flush toilet paper). Staff was great too. Self-check in was a breeze. I will just say that the rooms on the upperw floor don’t have elevator access and so if you have issues lifting your luggage, then I’d request a room on the ground floor."

"Our stay at Kura Boutique Hotel was unforgettable and one of the best hospitality experiences we’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcomed and completely relaxed. A huge thank you to Hazel at the front desk, who went above and beyond every day. She warmly greeted us after excursions, coordinated drivers, and even arranged packed breakfasts for our early departures — such a thoughtful touch that reflects the level of care at Kura. Marlon, one of the hotel drivers, also made a lasting impression. Every ride up and down the mountain was enjoyable thanks to his friendly personality and local knowledge. We loved hearing his stories and recommendations about Costa Rica and the surrounding area. William, our waiter and bartender, was equally wonderful. He constantly checked in to make sure we had everything we needed and loved pointing out local birds and wildlife around the property, which made the experience even more special. The hotel itself is stunning. The rooms are luxurious and comfortable, and the ocean view overlooking Whale’s Tail was breathtaking. One of our favorite memories was relaxing in the hammock each morning while listening to toucans in the trees. The meals were outstanding, and the spa was peaceful, spotless, and deeply relaxing. Kura is more than just a beautiful luxury hotel — it’s the people who make it unforgettable. We left feeling cared for, refreshed, and already wanting to return."

"This place is a diamond in the rough. We almost missed the turn onto the uphill, dirt road that looks like you're going the wrong way. But at the top of the hill, you'll find this beautiful property. The infinity pool and view are incredible. The staff couldn't have been friendlier. The room was very nice. Could have used a steamer or iron, and they probably could have provided if I had asked them. No TV --- but that was actually a plus because this place is meant to be a very calming get away. Drinks by the pool and dinner in the restaurant were great. If you're looking for quiet, calm, and relaxing then this is your spot."
