Soothing preserved rural setting, nestled on the edge of a bucolic meadow adjoining the wooded park of the prestigious neighboring castle (17th century building listed as a historic monument, now housing the very famous Écomusée de la Bresse). Nestled in the hollow of the verdant bocage valley of the Doubs on the first mountainous foothills of the Jura massif, Pierre-de-Bresse benefits from a magnificent preserved rural environment combining nature & agriculture, has many shops & services and offers a very good level of sports & leisure facilities (fishing lake with ecological leisure center protected in "Natura 2000 Zone" for the richness of its fauna & flora / "sports course" & "Parkrun" in the superb park of the castle / "Agorespace" etc ...).
