"When traveling here contact the hotel for water taxi information. They may be able to make the reservation for you which would be a great help. Approximately €70 from train station and €170 to airport. It really makes a difference since they have their own doc. "

"Right outside of the Rialto Bridge. Location was excellent. Saw mouse droppings in an open suitcase when we returned to the room one night but overall the room was clean. Staff was great. Breakfast was better than a lot of other places we had stayed. Loved using an actual key instead of a keyboard. Building was a little dated but wasnt an issue."

"This hotel totally exceeded my expectations for charm and vibe. Walking up to the front entrance was such a photo op moment, being greeted by a beautiful gate and signage, big beautiful blooming flowers, a lovely bar and garden area, and staff who greeted us at the door. This hotel has SO much character, don’t miss the first floor terrace overlooking the lagoon. The rooms were comfortable and had everything we needed. The breakfast was spectacular and with the option to eat outside, we loved mornings here. The dinner at the hotel was delicious as well. Absolutely loved our stay here."

"Our room was broken and in poor condition overall. Shower head arm & toilet seat were broken and not fixed until the next day. Same for the safe as well. The carpet had been cut out in pieces and new pieces glued down. The closet door was off the track and resting against the side of the closet up against the wall. Where the wall meets the ceiling has been painted over the wallpaper to try and cover what appears to be mold. The AC temperature is limited, doesn’t go below 22.2*. There is a hole in the wall at the bathroom door frame as well. The staff at check in was unfriendly and not helpful to have the items in the room fixed. Apparently he is the sole worker in the hotel @ 5pm onwards. We asked to have the room changed, early check out with a refund or partial refund and every option/suggestion was declined. The maintenance staff were friendly and tried to assist where possible. The breakfast was different from what we are accustomed to - cold ham or salami with cheese on a dinner roll or croissant. There was jam, honey or Nutella available for the croissant as well. Lots of people were complaining about the coffee. The juice was good! We didn’t try the corn flakes. I would never stay here again and can’t recommend this hotel. There are too many other options available."
