It’s in the centre of Pickering so an ideal location to use as a base. Pickering is a nice town with some nice shops. Train station is across from the apartment so worth taking a trip to the moors or Whitby. I would given 5\* as the apartment is 5\* but the parking is an issue. Parking at the Apartment is on street parking with a 1 hour limit between the hours of 8 and 6\. So you have to find somewhere else to Park which is a pain if you are looking for a later start in the morning . Yes there is free parking near the castle and a couple of places you can pay all day parking. ##### Julie P.
