The value is fair given the lower price point, but there are clear inconsistencies in both the facilities and the service. The guest rooms are generally in good condition, featuring relatively new furniture and well-maintained kitchens. Silverware very old. However, the bathrooms were only partially updated during the last remodel, leaving the original bathtubs and showers in place. Similarly, the breakfast is a scaled-back version of the standard Marriott selection in terms of quality and variety; it is functional, but those expecting the full brand experience may be disappointed. My most significant issue involved the guest laundry. The payment system for the modern machines was confusing and unreliable, neither machine were able to process a transaction. When I sought assistance, the front desk manager was dismissive, stating they could not help and had no information on when maintenance might arrive. They made no effort to inspect the machines or offer a workaround. Through further investigation on my end I found the older dryer functioned independently of the faulty payment system, which was the only reason I could finish my laundry.
