The view from the property was absolutely amazing. There are plenty of options of things to do on your stay. We stayed for only two nights but certainly could have stayed longer. The breakfast, box lunch & dinner was excellent. Everyone on the property was extremely friendly & treated you like family. We certainly will stay there again when in the area.

The views are spectacular. I wish I could’ve enjoyed the activities. The only downside is the drive back into the city, about a 20-40 minute drive depending on where you’re going. Staff was wonderful, and breakfast was great!

This place feels like you’re at summer camp again! The managers & other workers are so sweet & friendly. The setting is stunning. We did the two-hour kayaking excursion. When we came back, the lodge had boxed lunches that we had pre-ordered. Then dinner has way more special than you would imagine—apparently the main chef recently graduated from culinary school. The Wi-Fi signal is weak except in the main building, but that’s just all the better—this place lets you relax, reconnect with nature, & do a digital detox.

My husband and I loved our stay at the ranch! The employees were wonderful! The scenery was sublime, and the ranch offered all the help and activity you could want. The kayak guides were extremely knowledgeable and friendly. 100% reccommend a trip down the Salt River! Wild horses and plentiful fish were just some of the beautiful wildlife we got to see on our trip. Its was so nice to be close to so many excellent hiking trails and awesome Saguaro Lake. Breakfast was great everyday, the pancakes were a favorite. All in all, definitely recommend for a couples getaway, family vacation or weeked staycation! We will definitely be back!

This is a really special place, primarily due to the staff (who likely include the owners). They were very welcoming and accommodating. The cabins are quaint and get the job done, in a somewhat rustic way. We enjoyed their communal dinner twice and it was fantastic, and breakfast was great, too. I would definitely stay there again!

Restful, Relaxing, Peaceful

On a whim, we booked a cabin at this "ranch". We loved it so much, we never left the property our entire 3-night booking. The food was the best you can find, the staff were the most friendly and helpful we have ever had, and we were able to relax and truly enjoy our time here. We hated to leave! If you want a getaway that's relaxing yet fun, we highly recommend!

There are no words to describe the beauty of this resort or the kindness of the staff. By far the best experience I have ever had traveling…the scenery was breathtaking, SO many activities to keep us all occupied, VERY peaceful, food was 5 star and the staff went above and beyond on everything. This place is truly a hidden gem. The staff are super friendly and the breakfast was delicious. Great hiking and activities and beautiful scenery right from your cabin porch. You’re just a 15 minute drive from downtown Mesa but you’re completely in immersed in nature. The “golden hour” when the sunset reflects off the cliffs and mountains is worth the visit alone.

My family had a great time on the river! The staff at Saguaro Lake Guest Ranch were amazing! They were very friendly, helpful and kind. My 12 year old son even commented on how nice they were! The grounds were nicely kept and our cabin was perfectly rustic. We will definitely be back!

Saguaro Ranch is a hidden gem tucked away in Tonto Park. I’m so glad I stumbled upon it during my search for a hotel on Expedia. It was rustic but had upgrades where you would want them. The only downside was that there was limited WiFi. Typically I wouldn’t have minded, but I was there on a business trip. I wish I could’ve stayed longer! My hope is to visit again with my family. Thank you Saguaro Ranch for a great visit.
