"The unit was comfortable and clean with a stocked kitchen. We had no problem getting the key out of the outside lockbox (there were two keys in there) but the apt door lock box didn’t work. We called and the lady tried her best to research how to fix it. We used the second key in the deadbolt and it didn’t work. "Front desk tried to charge me an extra $50 to check in early. When I laughed and turned to give the porter my baggage to hold for me, he said ok how about $40 just for you! I couldn’t believe this. You’re extorting me for money to check in early. I told him I would rather roam the streets like a hobo than pay him this ridiculous “fee”. On my reservation I requested a fan for my room. None arrived. I didn’t pursue it any further bc it was only a one night stay. Finally, one of the bar staff was extremely rude to customers. Hard to explain what exactly happened in this review but let’s say I have stayed at this hotel numerous times when I’ve come to Philly and I’ve never encountered this kind of “attitude” from their bar staff before. "
